Amaliapolis (or Mitzela)

Amaliapolis, otherwise known as Mitzela, is a quiet and charming fisherman’s village in the municipality of Almyros, in the South West Magnesia prefecture.

The village is located within olive groves, in a natural cove within the Parasitic gulf. Its location, being only a 270klm drive north of Athens and a 240klm drive south of Thessaloniki, makes the village an ideal holiday destination for many visitors all year around.

Traditional family tavernas (restaurants), a traditional square and bakery, picturesque cafes and an organized beach with 2 beach bars fully cater for a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

The studio/ apartments are located in the traditional village of Amaliapolis, on the main sea promenade right after the main square of the village. The premises were built by the Kostoula family in 1960 as a hotel and operated as such until 2024.

It was thereafter converted into serviced studios/ apartments and we continue to offer our hospitality and services to local and international guests.

The studios/apartments

The premises consist of 4 apartments and 3 studio rooms, all fully furnished and equipped with a TV, their own A/C unit and a fridge.

All balconies and windows are fitted with mosquito nets.

The apartments are also equipped with a kitchenette plus all the necessary kitchen utensils necessary for preparing a breakfast and light meals.

The apartments/ rooms can accommodate from 2 to 8 persons. There are 1st floor sea view facing apartments with a private balcony and also front facing easy access ground floor apartments.
